Hey everyone,
I was just curious if there was a rule of thumb as to how large a snake can get and is still generally safe to be handled by one person. The largest snake I have now is a ball python but I want to pickup a columbian red tail boa sometime early this year. I know it'll take a few years for something like to be of concern if i buy a neonate but I live alone and while I assume a Burmese is too large for situation I think a redtail would be alright from anything I've ever read or heard. Any guidelines as far as maximum length or species would be a great help, for instance is a
BCC better to stay away from or would this be ok based on the average sizes. Thanks a lot.
