*finally* filed
Went to the courthouse today and filed for divorce. We're tyring to do it without a lawyer, which is going to be a real pain, but will save us some money .The circuit clerk said in the 10 years she's been there, she's never seen anyone with kids file without a lawyer. Not sure what we're getting into, but hopefully it will go smoothly.

My ex-husband and I did it without a lawyer, with two kids. If you want to do it, you definitely can. If I can help in any way, let me know. Good luck!

Thanks for the vote of confidence, Ann. I'm hoping the judge helps us out and lets us know what we need to do. Our first court date isn't until Jan. 25th, so I guess we'll have a better idea then of how this is going to turn out.
