Eventful day
Can't decide if it was a good day or a bad day- mostly good I guess. Took my dog to work with me because a lump on her side has been getting larger lately. It was a pretty slow day, so we decided to go ahead and remove it, along with a couple others, and clean her teeth as well. Everything went well, and the boss (who's a pathologist) says they don't look like anything to worry about. Good news. My parents also reopened their store today, but haven't advertised yet because their still getting inventory on the shelves and the shooting range isn't done. Good to be open, but frustrating that the range *still* isn't done. Got home from work, and get email saying the roaches I shipped out last Monday finally arrived at their destination, but they are all dead because the stupid post office took a week to deliver them instead of the promised 2 days. Now I have to refund his money and hope I can get at least part of it back. Also had a message on my answering machine- I entered a prize drawing over the weekend, and won a free 1 month membership to Peak Fitness! I've always toyed with the idea of joining a gym, but haven't had the money or the time. Well, now I have the membership, I just have to find the time. I think they have a child care center, so I may decide to go after work and take my son with me. Have to go pick up the certificate Wednesday. So, overall a good day, I guess, but lots of stuff happened that I hadn't planned on!

I have a hard time believing the roaches were all dead. The one creature that can survive a nuclear war, but yet it cant survive some time in a box? Unless you were shipping to someplace extreamly cold, I just dont see it. I think he's scammin you. i wouldnt refund his money till he sent them all back.

Hehe. There's no telling where they have been for the last week, they may have sat here in Rockford in the cold til somebody foudn them and sent them out. I'll be calling the post office tomorrow to see about getting a refund.
