Snake Decapitator
I guess this product goes back to "anything for a buck".
Quote:
|
SnakeSnareŽ can capture a snake for relocation but is designed for instant decapitation. Many neighborhoods feel that a good snake is a dead snake. Hunters use the SnakeSnareŽ to harvest valuable skins without damaging the snake by shotgun blast. The skin and meat are more saleable with instant decapitation.

ungh
Thats really sick.
But gets down to like you said... anything for a buck. Myself I run 4 Martial Arts Schools, so I have reach into a lot of households. This is the kind of thing i try and educate against (odviously many of my students are now into herping or wanting to be. Will actually be doing Education shows for them in the new year too
Not only is it sad to see tools like this for sale, but to actually see them sell is worse

products like these will have no problem being sold, since there is such negativity surrounding snakes. instead of educating themselves, people remain afraid of things they do not know about. besides, would there be a need for a 'snake decapitator ' if humans stopped all of the habitat fragmentation?

This link popped up on our random google link thing awhile back...I reported it to Shane and he said he would block it from showing up on our site. This product may be a good thing though for other uses...I wonder if I could get the loop over a teenager's head
