Well not that bad. Had a few of my snakes probed. found out that my female het for albino is a male. Now my pair of hets is two boys. guess the search is on for a female het. If you have any recomandations on who to talk to for a female het let me know.

If it makes you feel any better, I seem to have the same luck with pairs. Almost always a pair of boys or a pair of girls. It's aggrvating, isn't it? Best wishes for your search.

I reccomend a second opinion on that, especially since they are possible hets.
It is possible that the female was probed a little roughly and there is a hole in the pocket that can make her probe as a male.
When probing, did the vet probe one side or both?

Yah, go with Eddie on this one, always get a second opinion.
Although not a huge problem in boas, the membrane that would make a female probe female, or a male probe as a male, is very thin in some snakes (there is a known issue with this in Diamond pythons) and can easily be penetrated with careless or rough probing.
try again before you start the search.

Another great idea, since you have hets, (I am assuming you are gonna breed them) get
a good set of ball tipped probes and have some one with LOTS of experience probing teach you how to probe.

If you want a nice het I would try millenium morphs I went to his house last week and can vouch that he actually has what he sells plus he has a good garantee and he's been doing it for 16 years. He is located in LI NY. but shipsanywhere. go to www.royalballpythons.com, it's not finishedbut it shows what he has. Nice person as well with amazing stock. I saw all the parents and they are what he claims.

one more thing when you get them probed again make sure that the probes used have a rounded end it has less of a chance in damaging the nake. I tend to pop neonates I still think it's the best way to be sure.

Actually thats not too uncommon to happen though. I GOOD vet if probing will probe till you feel resistance. If the snake is nervous or overly sensative they will squeeze down giving you a false female and if you force it you may rupture the membrane and possibly Kill the snake.
Best to do it a few times on the animal do it 3 times on each side. I'll only probe adults. I'm not comfortable doing babies. I let my buddy Rich do them. I actually do a pretty good job of sexing by visualling the tail length. That depends on the breed of snake though.

I'm pretty sure that I belive the vet. She did it twice, but the reason that I took that snake in was that the tail and spurs were starting to really appear to be that of a male.
