ANACONDA , The Movie
Has anyone here seen the previews for ANACONDA? It comes out August 27th, and I think it looks really good!  It's about time those hunters get hunted. lol I can't wait to see it!

I'll watch it cuz it will be interesting, but probably won't enjoy it too much since it will all be SOOOO fake. I mean, c'mon, the preview all ready says the anacondas move 150 ft/sec.
Maybe their strike speed is that fast, but they are implying they move that fast chasing animals/people!

anaconda is just another way for snake hatin people to re-scare the bejesus out of people on the fence about snake into hating them...now the volvo drving soccer mom that was gonna let lil billy have a garter snake is gonna see that movie and he'll get a bunny rabbit instead..the conspiracy continues..now excuse me got reajust my tin foit hat..don't want the man to read my thoughts! You are reading way too much in to it. There's no conspiracy about it... people like dogs, people hate snakes it's very simple. Did you all see the movie Man's Best Friend... Lance Hendriksen... I did I'm a big lance fan... did I watch that movie and say to myself... I'm buying a fluggin chihuaha... not I. I have 2 60lb Australian Shepherds. Mean ones too...

I loved the movie Anaconda when it came out. I don't like people hating snakes because they are my passion but come on. Anacondas looks like it will be fun to just watch. The only bad part is they don't seem to be bringing back LL Cool J or Jennifer Lopez. But it is worth watching for fun.

Oh and as for SnakePool's comments. I see what you're sayin bout all movies bein fake etc... but a LOT less people understand snakes than the subjects of other movies, and are much more likely to relate this movie to all snakes and think they are all ridiculously fast and out to hunt humans. Love to bite, etc...
When people see a movie with a mean dog or something else, they remember that dog was mean, but then go home to their dog, their friend's dog, their neghbor's dog etc... and remember dog's aren't usually like that. Now how many will go home and have a nice calm snake to remind them snakes aren't bad? Very few I'm sure. I think that's the main problem people have with these movies.
Oh and btw we used to breed australian shepherds and still have one now. SMART SMART dogs, I love em.

The movie does look pretty exciting but all these scary snake movies don't help much to raise peoples opinions of them.

well personally I saw the last one and I though i was stupid. now the new one I have a problem with how they portray the snake as a man hunter. I dont know the plot seem kinda lame and th special effects dont look that good. but that just my opinion. I aint gonna see i just cause its gonna scare more people about snakes. my 2 cents
