More bad news
This is another bad event to occur that gives our hobby a bad reflection in the public eye. I know none of us here condone keeping of alligators, at least in small private collects. But in the public eye this reflects onto all that keep reptiles. This gives groups like PETA fuel for the fire against us. We have to learn from these events and use them as a reminder of education to the public or anyone looking to own a reptile. My heart goes out the the alligator is this one, poor thing. Anyway this is just more bad news.

Looks to me like the best thing that ever happened to that alligator. From the article, it appears that neither of these individuals has any business with any pets. It wouldn't matter if they owned an alligator or a poodle, eventually something bad wouild have come of it.

The guy gets charged with battery and "possession of an alligator", but not for cruelty? If he had thrown a dog he would have been charged, but I guess throwing reptiles is ok.

Kept in a bathtub. Real nice. i hope they had 2 bathrooms. Sounds like a real piece of work there. Just like being a parent, you dont have to prove your qualified, just that you had a few bucks to spend one day.
