There are 3 Scales N' Tails stores. One in Englewood on south Broadway, a bit south of Hampden Ave., another in Lakewood in a shopping plaza on the west side of 20th and Wadsworth. The 3rd one is up in Thornton on 120th Ave. somewhere. There is also a place called Reptilian Haven in Wheat Ridge on 44th, between Sheridan and Wadsworth. The ones in Wheat Ridge and Lakewood are about 5 minutes from each other. These aren't the greatest stores, but their care of herps is somewhat decent, and the selection of supplies isn't half bad either. Pro Exotics is still in business, but they no longer do in-store business, they only take online or phone orders now. If I remember correctly, they do open the store for for a few hours every Saturday. All you can get there are supplies, no herps. Pro Exotics is also on Broadway, just south of Littleton Blvd., it's behind a gas station (Texaco, I think). It's kind of hard to see from the road. Hope this helps. PM me if you need directions or whatever.

I go to Pet shops in Denver all the time, Scales-N-Tails are pretty good, I have bought several animals there, only had one problem with them and it was with an animal they had gotten from someone else. I have also been to a place called Reptilian Haven, they have BIG monitors and burms and such. But i wasnt very impressed with that store at all. There is another one in Boulder CO i go to occassionally, called Aquatic Exotics or somehting like that. They had some decent snakes when i was there last time, i we picked up a pair of baby pictus geckos.
Hope this helps any questions please feel free to drop me a line.
