what the heck would make someone hurt a puppy? I mean I really think such people should be remoed from society---it looks too Jeffrey Dahmer to me.

Yes, the capacity for humans to commit cruelty upon small helpless things is amazing. And unfortunatly if you spank your child ,and some do gooder sees it, you go to jail now. That doesn't work in my house. It is open season on bad kids here.
A simular thing happened near where I lived in La. years ago when some teenagers broke into a humane society and proceeded to shoot all the animals there. The poor shelter workers walked in the next morning and found about 50 dead and/or dying dogs in there pens. They caught those boys and I think all they got was a fine and a bunch of community service. Our society has bred these "no consequence" kids and it is truely a problem. i would never have dreamt of doing the things I see teenagers doing (and getting away with)today. My father would have kicked my butt if I had even thought about it. Sorry, I will get off my soapbox now. It is time to go and beat my 13 year old.
