Hi Telefrag

Do you ever play on line anymore? I use to all the time my name on line was Snakeman. If you would like maybe we can get a few of the redtailboa people together and play on line. Most of the time now all I do is look for new skins and maps to try. Here are a few link I have bookmarked for fee down loads.

Its been a few years for me, I used to do Q3 arena, and unreal tournament all day... it drove my wife nuts.


UT, Q3, or counterstrike, any of those, id be down with a friendly game along with other rtb'netters, I Know there has to be several gamers here.

I was never really into Q3, but counterstrike man, couple of years ago it was a full time 24/7 thing. Good game, aint played the new one yet.

use to play ut alot. Q3 was ok, no where near as good as UT I thought. Thats a matter of opinion I guess. Counterstrike, never got into it. Heard too many hackers were in it etc that it sucked. A good online shooter is ghost recon, there use to be about 1k people in the lobby on nights, dunno if its still like that. An amasing game. I have counter strike for xbox now, ghost recon is 10x better than that game i think. Again matter of opinion. If I still had UT id play but I dont. Oh well.

Quake (1) was my original decent into brainless gaming,but cs is teh 3e5t...cept for those haxors...

Ive used names like..Neverending /Infiniteone /burning1 /and the most recent change is to..Xanthic.

In my Q3 days my names were..$ilverwing /$ilver[SNOOK] /Quakezombie/...

Counter strike has its ups and downs with hackers using wall hacks and etc, but its usually ok when you know the sever you are playing on and such. Cant compare it to the Xbox version, that version just sucks. Yeah UT is good, never really got to play alot of it.

There is a new version out -- Condition Zero -- I haven't seen any hackers yet and valve really did a goodjob working with steam for security. Its a better game now, and what is better is that the HALF LIFE 2 is coming out with a counter strike fix and its gonna be 10x better then the orginal. One of the best graphics I have seen, but I am sure you need a good card for it. Check out the preview at Aztec, its really worth looking at if your into online multyplayer shooters.

The older half life cds made it a bit trickier getting setup because of the download updates and all that. If you have the requirements you should be fine now, they made it pretty easy to figure it out.

You need a serial # for the game to even work now. There cracking down on Pirated software, but if its a condition zero copy you can buy a serial # at this server website for like $25.00. Its better then going and paying $50 for the game. If you want it I can go fish it out of my favorites.

If it is a copied game and you have a working serial you should be ok. Unless it needs a "No CD" patch. Meaning that the game is looking for the original disk (info that isn't copied to the copy). If you need a no cd patch for it, I can get it for ya.

Cool yeah i think thats the error i was getting. I'll have to boot it up tomorrow ands check, I'll let you know.
