LOL, yeah i was a Boy Scout and still teach the Reptile and Amphibian Merit badge each year. I live by two phrases:
"Be Prepared" - Boy Scouts of America
"There is no Doing like OVERDOING" - my father

I just keep it in the car when field herping. We are rarely very far from it.

The pepper spray is there because my pistol won't fit I have gotten stuck in the swamps before and had to walk out. Better to be prepared for anything. Actually that is the good stuff that collapses their lungs, glues thier eyes shut and dies them orange. he he he.

Got a venom suction device in there?

One of the things I would see as extra weight for the field, fecasol since I don't see a Mscope in the kit...
Lack of a spare cell phone battery.. suture kits, duct tape, medical history chart and protocols for species likely encountered.. medical grade super glue... kevlar gloves.. local topographical maps of herping areas and a compass (never can tell when the GPS might get dropped and broken)

I would even go as far as using a PTBrother type printer and label the look alike bottles in bold print so they can be found quickly at a glance by an assistant.

Cell Phone battery is a bit useless since most of the places I go do not have service. Much of the other stuff is in my Protocol Kit (which also gets thrown in the car). My topos are always with me or else i could never find my tin spots again (I have the sense of direction of a Lemming).

The problem is that I am limited on space. I get the feeling that this will soon have to be broken up into two boxes and keep it more specific.
