Did anyone see this last night? While I like them, and their idiotic approach to teaching lessons of wildlife without causing too much harm to the animals, I feel the action I saw last night were a little, well, over the top. At the end of their interview, one of them (the one with hair?) put on a blindfold, and had the third member of their group come out with a big
BCC in a bag, which was released on the floor. It was obviously in a bad mood. The blindfolded idiot reached out for the snake in hopes of getting bitten, which he did across his whole fist. At no time did he react, or jerk, or do anything to the snake. No blood was shown, but I am sure there was considerable bleeding, as he was hit in the top of his hand & fingers. At no point did I see anything that could have been construed as cruelty to the snake. It was kinda funny actually, but I also saw everyone in the audience react in such a negative way.
So I am still trying to understand the moral of the story: Snakes are big aggressive creatures that should only be handled by professionals (or worse!), -OR- even the bite of a big aggressive boa, can not severly harm a person.
Just thought I would share what I saw. Anyone else wanna chime in on this?
