Awww come on...
We are here to help teach everyone, no matter what!
And if we get where we are wanting to say things like this, then I say we are no better than the other sites...
I know better than that though, cause we are Redtailboa!
Sure, we may have some disagreements from time to time, but everyone walks away having learned something.

I think that the one thing that EVERYONE here has to understand is that YOU DO NOT KNOW EVERYTHING! That is the purpose of this site. It is a place for peolple with similar interests and a shared hobby to come together to talk, share photos, and most importantly learn from each other. None of us claim to be the end all say all of herpetoculture. But everyone has something that they can contribute. You ask me to ID a salamander, and you can actually watch my eyes glaze over. You ask me about a Rattler, and I am all over it.
There is a major difference between a young person and a child. There are a few people here that are young, but have the desire to learn from the more experienced keepers. There is only so much that you can learn from a book. You can read how to give a SubCu injection to a 14 foot African Rock Python, but that does not mean that you know how to do it. The difference between a child and a young person is that the child thinks he can, and the young person wants to learn. A child has a ball python and maybe a leopard gecko and thinks that makes them an expert. The true "experts" know that there is always something left to learn.
As far as William is concerned. Right now he strikes me as a child (just my opinion). But that is no reason to chastize him. Perhaps he will hang out and learn from the vast amount knowledge present on this site.

Ya also gotta think about how long it has been since this thread and the others that william posted on were actually started.
It has been quite some time since I remember seeing william, so I think the point of flaming him is a moot one....
I for one hope he is still lurking and learning due to what BW said about all the info that is stored in all our tiny lil peanuts!

Ok sorry. He is NOT bitting me in the eye. I was pretty ( ok, I will say it "scared" ) It is a really mean snake. I was holding it and all of a sudden it started crawling up me. Couldnt get it off or I had another chance of getting bit. It went of, when he was way up top I finnaly grabbed him down.

Im 15 and ive been around chams for about 3yrs
and to thomasito i agree totally with you there, i bought loads of books of red tails and the book actually said that heat rocks were good!!!
Since becoming a member here i know that putting a heat rock in with the snake is a bad idea because of burns
so shine on you crazy diamonds

Hi jowex
My bci is 3 months old and is 26" long. Yeah it is pretty cool having a bci knowing what lengths they get to and all but im sure i will be able to handle her. I am not sure whether it is a columbian bci or not as the breeder did not tell me.
Joe
