new snake
I want a new snake that will cost no more that 300 and is very colorful. I have talked to savanah babe about emeralds and another green snake but both have a bad tempermant. So what im asking is if anyone know of a colorful snake that doesn't cost an arm and a leg and has a good tempermant.

i think many of the ratsnakes of asia are some of the most beautiful snakes in the world. look here... http://www.ratsnakes.com/index.html most of the time if you get a captive bred one, the temperment is pretty good. if there is a specific one you want to know the temperment of, i am sure someone on here will know.

Obviously you've never played with any big bull or gopher snakes!!! Some of the refined locality subspecies and morphs can be pretty striking (no pun intended) in size and color/pattern.

The "Red Tail Green Ratsnakes" that you are looking at, tend to be agressive in my experience (but hannah never minded ). Most that you will see are WC imports with a heavy parasite load.
Just remember that there is no rush to pick something. Since you have a rtb coming soon. Go ahead and get him/her set up and established and that gives you time to research.
