Nice Nails (graphic pic warning)
Yahoo News Story
Six nails embedded in the skull of construction worker Isidro Mejia, 39, after an industrial incident caused a nail gun to shoot nails into his head and brain on April 19, 2004, are seen in this X-ray image from Providence Holy Cross Hospital in Los Angeles. Five of the six nails were removed in surgery that day and the sixth was removed from his face on April 23, after the swelling went down. YIKES!!
That's an accident? Looks to me like someone didn't like ol' Isidro too much.

Yah.. I have heard real stories about people shooting themselves in the foot several times in one day.. (alcohol WAS involved there)
But a pneumatic nailer wouldnt have the degree of accuracy if merely lying on a floor or table while going off AND you would think if it was doing that, he would have ducked after the first hit..

Duck? Heck...I think you would just fall out of the way after a nail to the brain! LOL
Seriously though, it is farfetched, but concievable looking at the pictures that if the nails were fired as rapidly as an automatic weapon that he could have been spinning and been hit at all those angles. I guess it could be an accident, but can you imagine the probability? Talk about bad luck.
Can you imagine the headaches this guy will have?

I heard about this earlier....Very lucky guy...i heard that the nail in his neck just barely missed his spinal column...looks painful....i was wondering if he would have been better off just hitting the ground... I dont know if i believe it was an accident either....

Most of the nail guns I have used, were of the Hilti type, using a 22 caliber blank charge and they could shoot anything you put in them.
I get a headache just seeing these pics....
