What a beautiful lizard.
I finally get over to the zoo today (no discs yet) and the people I met there (a little girl who goes to school with my daughter and her mom) were both scared of snakes....imagine that. All I wanted to do was see the reptiles and I wait all this time for the ice to clear outside the zoo and I go with two people who are scared of snakes.....
In any case, I got a brief look and some highlights were: a huge copperhead (beautiful snake) a large anaconda, an GTP, a huge collection of rattlesnakes, a cayman, the rhino (who was bigger then I remembered), and a habitat with croc monitors (I'm in LOVE btw)....I am going back next time childless, friendless and with a camera so I can take photos.....
My oldest daughter who is 6, fell in love with the vampire bats (THATS my girl)...she also loves UNDERWORLD so....
anyone know if having a vamp bat as a pet is doable?
Thanks for posting this pic--always love big lizards.
