What is the best diet to provide brightest colors? Do certain foods add or take away from color?

llama. A proper diet and correct husbandry will generate the best colors on an iguana. Look through the caresheets here on the site and you will find what you need to know.

I second Constrictor Bo's reply, but I have noticed things high in betacarotine, like carrots, make my bearded dragons more orange.
A varied diet is best, you don't want to feed too much of one thing.
