Nicole's new Ig
Well, after all that heat     (enough to make any iguana blush with basking bliss) I would like to say, I hope everyone has cooled off now.  
We ALL need to try to accept and tolerate each other's differences, none of us is perfect.
I would like to know about Nicolenadia's new iguana and see some pictures! |

I guess I missed out on the heat, still to cold here to allow my guys out into their outdoor area, but that is a nice looking Male Ig. What is he, about 4 or 5 years old?
The reason I ask is the way he has his back slightly raised would indicate some defensiveness or possibly breeding agression to my old eyes.
My guys are going through that time of the year right now, not real fun.

He is about 5 years old, according to the guy who owns him. He lives in a large, wire mesh dog kennel, and the door is left open so he walk around the bedroom hes in or go back in an warm up. I did not take these pictures. I did not take my camera when I met him, but the guy took some of him and e-mailed me the pictures. Hes in really good health and I have no idea why he is on the defense. He took those pictures a few day after I met him.

If the guy is gonna give him to you and you have the room for a big enclosure I'd say go for it but be ready for his spring fever next year. My guys are just getting over it now.
My oldest, about 8, even attacked me this year for the first time. Nothing I could not handle but it was startling to have a big ig actually come flying off the shelf mouth open in attack mode.
