I have a question from a freind that i could not awnser

His igununa is losing some scales and it all ready lost half of its beard and on its uper arms its like scabed over its scales i told his to put antibiotit ontment on it. What should i have him do and what type of deases could it be or is it some type of iration to some thing in her cage?

If the scales are falling off, that is a major nutritional deficiency. What type of diet is the iguana on? Please tell me that it is not being fed protein. If so, then it most likely will end up having gout which is kidney damage, basically.
What type of UVB & supplementation is being used?

If he does not want this lizard to suffer and die, tell him to get it right now to a vet who may be able to save it and advise him on its proper care.

If your friend reads at all, and he cares about his iguana, he would already know what to feed it and what its needs are.

Sounds like it is in the advanced stages of malnutrition.
