today at work, after i punched out, i was sitting in the back of the store showing the 2 BPs to all the kids that were in there. they got a kick out of it. then a boy(about 16 or 17) and his mom came in. they were asking a couple questions about the BPs, then the boy saw the 3 juvie igs. he wanted one. so for the next 1/2 hour i was there with him and his mom explaining ig care to them. i told them to cll Bob at reptileuv.com andf get a megaray. and i told them to buy the Ultimate Green Iguana Manual by James Hatfield/ and told them to buy repcal herptivite and repcal calcium phos. free no d3. i said they need a high humidity, about 80%. feed dark greens, the mother knew exactly what i was talking about, and all different squashes, a little fruit etc.i told her not to feed him today, and feede him tomorrow. and in 2 weeks, bring the ig, and a fecal to a vet. i also explained everything about how big igs get and how big of a cage they need. she listened to everything i said, she said shes gonna call Bob Mac, and get the book. and i told her no loose substrate. i think i did a pretty good job.
