I am thinking of getting an iggy as I have always wanted one. I have room for one and will not get one until an enclosure has been built with all the lighting required, what advice would you guys give me, I have a 7 year old daughter who has eszema is there any chance that she could become allergic to the iggy has anyone else had similar experiences. I am not a novice with reptiles and have many friends who also have lizards and snakes but would appreciate any advice you could give me thank you in advance fiona

Umm.. Are you saying exzema or asthma here ?
Either way i have as yet to hear about anyone with either condition having an allergy to an Iguana anyways.

ANYWAYS.. What exactly do you need to know about the Igs ?
IF you do decide to get one, I would suggest that you adopt one rather than purchasing one from like a pet store also. I usually have igs available here for adoption btw

Fiona,

I've never heard of anyone being allergic to herps...matter of fact, my allergies were what got me into them in the first place. I'm allergic to everything else...everything. I can only have pets with scales. I'm no doctor or anything, but I dont think it will be a problem
