mean iguana

so how do you tame an iguana?mines like the meanist thing every time i pick it up it bites me,but its only like a foot long so it dont hurt.but im thinkin when he gets a couple feet long,im gonna start feelin it.
so any help would be appreciated.

get some leather gloves and just handle it every other day or so for 15-minutes at a time. Make sure when it strikes you dont flinch (thats what the gloves are for) and just keep holding him and it will teach him that bites dont work. It just takes time and you got to keep working with him/her.

hmmm...yeah, the only really good way to end that is to get them used to the fact that you aren't a predator looking for a snack....might take a while....but it may end up worth it.
Have you had any other iguanas? I had one and he never bit me (not on purpose). But he ended up getting too sick for me to care for any longer (low budget household). I gave him up, but had i had more experience, he would have been one of my favorite pets. He was a sweety.

nope never had an iguana before but ill try holdin him more
i was just readin a thread on here were i took a chunk out of somones hand so i thought i would ask.thanks for the help.
