My friends iguana has a.d.d. It runs all over the cage violently whenever you look at it within 3 feet of its cage. why does it flip out? has anyone seen this before? imp:

theres alot that may be wrong with the care but assuming all the care is right then im also going to make the assumption thats its a baby in a glass aquarium so if this is true does it have any hides there not required but if its that nervous i suggest some? When you or whoever look at do not smile if its that scared in the wild teeth are only shown when something is going to eat it or show who is dominant.

It's also breeding season for adult iguanas. My 3-year-old has been roaming and generally 'flipping out' all month.

My iguana didn't go into season until last year, and even then it was short and barely anything happened. Not all iguanas get aggressive in season... mine just wanders, leaves sperm plugs everywhere, and goes off his food.
