Can an iggy "smell" snakes?

Does anybody know if an iggy can "smell snakes" that are close to him, but out of his sight?

I think my snakes can smell him... my baby boa seems so interested in getting out of her cage when he is around, even not actually seeing him.

He doesn't seem to smell them, because I think if he could he would get nervous, and he is so calm. Or perhaps his "calmness" is actually fear? But then I think he wouldn’t eat, and he is eating like a horse… anyway, this is more a curiosity than an actual problem I guess.

Hmmmm... I would answer the original question with a definite maybe. However, if he's not showing stress and he's eating, I'd agree with Dead and say everything is cool.
