While we're on the subject... (pics!)
...here are some cheery iguana pictures. This is my 2-year-old male, Xander:
And the last two for comparisson. The first was taken this time last year on my arm. The second was taken today on my arm. The red spot on his face is a bit of bell pepper, not a sore or anything like that  In hindsight, I should have cleaned him up a bit before taking the picture.

June, 2004: 6" SVL, 18" STL

Today, 10" SVL, 32" STL

Nope! I got it from a book I read once... but don't ask me to remember which one. It was just the first name that popped into my head the first time I laid eyes on him, and it stuck.

wow! i cant wait until my iguana is that big! looks very healthy! i could only find the collards, no one round here has mustards...is that ok? oh yah! and i put them and some kiwi in his dish and set the dish back...then about 2 minutes later i set him next to the dish (in the cage of corse) and walked away and just watched and he ate from the dish (a collard green)....progress!  im trying to resize the picture still, its so challenging!
