So I take it her levels are very high? I am feeding Collard, Mustard Greens and Turnip Greens as her main greens. I have made a salad of watercress, kale, bok choy, papaya mango and melons with red and yellow bell peppers. At this time she has not eaten any of the veg/fruit salad. In fact yesterday she ate about 1 cup of her greens with watermelon as her after greens treat. I have to hand feed her, she has not eaten on her own as of yet. I am taking in a fecel today and going to buy 2 new UV bulbs for her cage.
Hopefully this will stimulate her into eating on her own and more activity.
Thanks for your replies and checking on her levels for me. jamie

Update on My Iggy
Charlotte went to the a different Vet yesterday that deals with Iguana's and had some blood work and a fecal done. Fecal is clean which I am so happy about. He CA:P levels are 42:11.5 which has changed greatly from 23.7:38.4
Vet recommends that I stop giving calcium sups and continue with the diet and add a few more veggies to balance it out and fruit for treats. So I am going to add butternut squash and sweet potatoes and green beans. I will only feed her fruit for the water content so not to worry about to much phos and oxcilates or whatever they are called, can't remember right now.
Seems she is doing a fine job of turning around for the healthy ig that she should be.
Just thought that I would give you an update. Thanks for reading
Jamie

It must be iguana season. In the last month, I have had 4 resuce iguanas come in to the shop. THe last one was Thursday, someone left him and his cage outside the Natural Sciance Center in the next town over. They called, asked would I take him, and brought him over. His tail was broken about 5 inches from the vent, and about 3-4 inches has grown back. He is eating well, though, and enjoys limited and supervised playtime with the others. Iggys have the best personalities, I wish they weren't so "throw-away"

What a great looking iggy! I cant wait till my George grows up...LOL
Your diet list is good... George is a true SOUTHERN lizard, he will only eat collard, mustard, and turnip greens, watermelon, on occassion grapes (seedless), sliced beets, bananas, mango and kiwi.
I have also heard that whole wheat pasta cooked in just water is good. I havent tried that yet with George. Also 12 grain bread soaked in water is good, again havent tried it.
There is a another site that is helpful... iguanaden.com. I have used some of their info.
Like Nicole said read everything, then take it with a grain of salt and use what you feel will suit your ig's needs. There are many out there who are fanatical about diet, lighting and such.
As for clipping nails... I havent tried but I feel that they are needed just like my cats need their claws. The tree branches that your ig climbs will naturally trim the nails.
Keep up the good work.
Connie
