How To Fish In Texas

How To Fish In Texas

I went fishing this morning but after a short time I ran out
of worms. Then I saw a cottonmouth with a frog in his mouth.
Frogs are good bass bait. Knowing the snake couldn't bite me

with the frog in his mouth I grabbed him right behind the head,
took the frog, and put it in my bait bucket.
Now the dilemma was how to release the snake without getting
bit. So, I grabbed my bottle of Jack Daniels and poured a
little whiskey in its mouth. His eyes rolled back, he went
limp. I released him into the lake without incident and
carried on fishing using the frog.

A little later, I felt a nudge on my foot. There was that
same snake with two frogs in his mouth. Life is good here in Texas !

America does not go abroad in search of monsters to destroy. She is the well-wisher to the freedom and independence of all. She well knows that by enlisting under other banners than her own, were they even the banners of foreign independence, she would involve herself beyond the power of extrication in all the wars of interest and intrigue, of individual avarice, envy and ambition, which assume the colors and usurp the standards of freedom. – John Quincy Adams (1821)

Re: How To Fish In Texas

well if i was talkin about expensive stuff i'd be talkin about chivas 25 year, but i don't have an extra $300 for whiskey elijah craig is actually really economical though, $50. Laphroaig is about $70, which is about my sweet spot. anything higher and i had better have tasted it before droppin that kinda chedda. my buddy gets blue label every weekend, but for $150, i think it tastes like they just poured chivas 12 year over some home depot lumber. dollar amount does not denote quality, though it's hard to find a $17 whiskey i'll drink haha. Redbreast you can find for around $40 if you find a deal, and i'll drink that sweet irish nectar of the gods as much as i can get it. just depends what mood i'm in. sorry if i'm goin off on y'all, i'm in a wonderful mood. just had a whole day of homemade mexican food, good box rolled nicaraguan cigars and good 18 year old whiskey. life is beautiful my friends
