Oh Yeah!
I also stole a suitcase for my snakes, but I kept the homeless guy and make him clean my cages for me! I also stole an elephant from the circus and trained it to sit on the suitcase to keep the homeless guy from stealing it back! I also keep them all chained up outside my cave!

As a high school teacher, I'm in the privileged position of being able to make my 'bad' students hold my snakes in their mouths for warmth and shelter. Backtalk? That's half an hour of snake time. Forgot your homework? Take three hours. Tardy? Take half a day. Cut class? Graveyard shift!
Beats buying shoeboxes & paying electricity.

that's terrible!!! how could you keep a snake in a suit case!!! it's got to be cramped in there. thats why i keep my homless guy in the suitcase, and let my snake roam free and keep himself warm with the homeless guy's garbage can bonfire. ("...snake in a suitcase...i ought to call the humane society on you..." ten mutters to himself)

You should save space and keep the snake and homeless guy in the suitcase. That way neither gets lonely[addsig]

ok, I have conciterd the input...now i keep them in tubes shaped like a horseshoe with the ends caped off with screen on the head end and open on the other cause snakes have a hard time backing up...and i drap it over the hot water line!
the fishhead wont' fit in the tube so now i feed them asparagus when someone cooks it for me...otherwise I use rabbits feet..

couldn't you just tuck the snake into socks then run them trhough the dryer? That way you do two things at once, get your socks dry and keep your snake warm. The snakes seem to get good exercise that way, too. It's funny watching them try to stagger without feet. And you call yourself a vet tech....
Everybody knows the dryer is best for shed cycle!
Other than that it makes a great alterntive to manually whacking your rats.
Ya put them on fluff for whacking and delicates for the most perfectly done thawed rat your snakes will ever eat.

Rats!!?? Your snakes get rats!!??!!!
They're a bit spoilt are'nt they???
I stapled the tail of my carpet python to
the floor next to the stove ,that way he gets warm whenever we
cook dinner & lives off the scraps that fall out of the pan!!

eddie, you are so right, I must have gotten confused, that explains Merci's bad sheds. I will remedy that right away.
