George Carlin got me beat up. I was on a flight home from San Francisco after a photo shoot a few years ago and we had stops in Denver and KC. This fairly hot chick that was flying from Denver to KC ended up in the seat next to me and she had a slight case of the shakes. She told me this was her first time on a plane ever...
...soooo the first thing that came to mind were the George Carlin jokes...
(Flight Attendant) "In the unlikely event that the cabin depressurizes"... (me) That means a big hole rips through the fuselage and people start flying out through the hole, kicking and screaming"...(Flight attendant)"These oxygen masks will fall from the overhead"(me)They aren't really oxygen masks, they are just to muffle the screams so as not to annoy the crew while we are nosediving to our deaths." ...
That was the last straw I guess lol...I got a swift elbow to the ribs so I shut up...then as the plane was taking off, I found myself bleeding from her fingernails digging into my arm. I guess I had that coming lol...She was pretty nice once she removed her daggers from my flesh. I had been reading a Stephen King book but was giving it a rest. The book was "Four Past Midnight"...a series of 4 novellas...The particular story was "The Langoliers"...She asked me what I'm reading. My eyes got big and I just said...NO WAY am I going to tell you what this story is about lol. If you haven't read it, it's about a not so pleasant airplane ride and Stephen King wrote it so "not so pleasant" is an understatement.
My favorite Carlin airplane joke though is..."Mr Calin, you can get on the plane now" (carlin)"ON THE PLANE??? ummm no thanks. Evil Knievel can get ON the plane...I'm getting IN the plane!" That one wasn't so bad but I never got to tell it to the chick on the plane because the claws were already out and it was my fur that was about to fly lol.
Never take George Carlin's advice for what to say to a cop when pulled over.
(cop)"Any idea why I pulled you over?" (Carlin looking around and into his back seat) hmmm I dunno. I don't have any donuts...I'm gonna have to go with the cocaine in the trunk on this one"

George Carlin is awesome. I think my favorite bit of his would have to be his "Farts" bit. I can never get enough stand up comedy.
If anyone has a chance, and would like to see some great stand up, get Carrot Top Rocks Las Vegas. I know a lot of people who only have seen Carrot Top on those retarded AT&T commercials, think of him as just that. However, I have watched him since he first started touring, and he is absolutely hilarious on stage.
"Have you ever noticed? Anybody going slower than you is an idiot, and anyone going faster than you is a maniac."

I love to watch comedy. Though I'm not to familiar with George Carlin, I have heard a couple of his cds. The main stand up comedians I am familiar with is the "redneck" comedians, the "kings of comedy" and Rodney Carrington. But one of the funniest comedy shows I have ever seen has got to be Chapelle Show. That show is hilarious!

I have to agree.. The Chappelle Show has to be the funniest out there right now, and Carrington is the man when it comes to redneck comedy. I like the way Comedy Central is loosening the reigns on what they will let Dave do on his show. His goal is to truly be the "equal opportunity offender" and poke fun at EVERYone. I thought everyone was going to take his head off when he did the Clayton Bigsby skit. LOL.
