dusty bedding

reciently switched to "Hampster aspen" bedding from "snake aspen" bedding. Its way sheeper, and comes in larger bags, but its way more dusty.
I thought about soakign it, them maybe baking it, but i've heared that aspen is bacsically useless after its wet.

Is there any way to decrease the dust in aspen?

Re: dusty bedding

Never heard of a way to decrease dust in aspen bedding but maybe you could blow the dust away with a fan while you stir it up in a box or something. Works on grain I know. Have been purchasing aspen bedding for $4.00 for a 45 pound bag at mills fleet farm. Its listed as aspen horse bedding and I havent noticed a problem with dust yet. On my 2nd bag.
