3. What are 2 pitvipers that lay eggs?
4. What is the origin for the name of the genus Vipera?
5. What venomous snake has been well documented for building a "nest" for her eggs?

4)derived into middle english (vipere) from old french who took the word from old latin(vipera)...vus=alive ...parere=to give birth so viper either means they give live birth or in the case of my horny copperheads, they live to give birth.

3. Lachesis sp., Calloselasma rhodostoma, some Trimeresurus. The Lachesis taxinomy is very disputed, about how many species there are.
