What do you call....

A group of hatchling crocs? And how long does the mother stay with them?

In general hatchlings remaining near the nest site in creches and nurseries, these social groups are called pods. The time the mother stays with the hatchlings varies between the species and is also dependent on habitat factors and seasonal regimes. Usually this time falls between two weeks and four years.
