Herping Spots in Tn
I just move here from alabama to TN and as you probably know alabama is like GA you can find snakes anywhere lol well anyway .. i have not even seen one snake up here .. not even one dead on the road . so does body live in TN that knows any good spots within the kingsport,bristol,johnson city area ?? thanks.

you're in mountain country East TN, right? A lot of that area is middle of nowhere...think like a snake. Where would you go? Anybody up on what snakes prefer mountainous habitats?

lol... well, when i am looking for snakes in GA it seems there are none. the last two times i went into the woods, i saw none. but the day after both times, i found one near the house (in the city). of course they were just brown snakes, but still, snakes. maybe i am not looking in the right spots.

lol sorry about the miss spell i dont know what in the heck i was thinking .. yea in alabama  i found snakes all the time mostly rat snakes and cotton mouths and rattlers and water snakes but up here that garter snake was the first snake i have found up here and he was swimming in a ice cold stream
