Florida camping pics

well, these are the only pics that joe and i were able to get on our camera before it died.

rev has more, but they were on a disposable camera. we had a blast..note the big cups joe(faze) and i were holding. i told rev to bring his big floppy hat, because by the end of the night, he had lost it to me

sunglasses too :P it was awesome

haha! the shirtless wonder has struck again!!! oh and for those of you who havent seen scott without glass's now you have and you've also seen kell with scotts glasses lol

nothing much a few tree frogs maybe a toad and a buttload of anoles (that was my fault got off of work late so we didnt get to the site till after dark) while kelly and dan went to the gas station rev and i took the kids out lookin for a bit but we really didnt go out far enough away from the camping areas to find anything we where just putzing and letting the kids burn some energy

but we did successfully get told that we couldnt have the hooks by the park volunteers lol

he he..herping or not, we still had fun. the next day we ventured off a little bit, but due to having the kids with us it made it a little bit difficult. whining--"mommy carry me" which they usually dont do while we go herping and such. but they were tired. all around the camp site i kept hearing, "mom i found a snake!" which made me jealous cause i didnt find one.. grrr..ohwell, i suppose there is always next time, right?

We had a ball...a fireball! I think as much 151 went in the fire as went in us. I hope my pix of that came out. For the record, I believe that is the only pic taken of me all weekend without glasses (I only had em off so I could tell if the dogs were done)...and yes, Babe talked me out the hat, the glasses (I brought spares this time), and um...never you mind the rest...

We had a great time. S'mores, weiners...and Kelly made us a great breakfast in the morning. The kids were all great. So we were loaded for bear as far as herping goes and missed out. Oh well. Fate has been known to conspire against me. Maybe it was for the best...perhaps Fate smiled on me and kept me out of a rattler bite. It don't matter, we had a good time anyway. I wish we could have stayed longer, but I had other commitments in Tampa on Saturday. If it hadn't been my nephew's first b-day, I'd have ditched the rest of my obligations and just stayed another night.

Anyway, if y'all ever get the chance, go hang out with Faze and Babe and party your pants off!

Sorry to hear you didn't have much luck in the herps dept.
You obviosly had fun anyway.

Cute kids! I think if Destiny could grin any harder she'd hurt herself!
