Pics of this months herps i caught
This month i only caught 2 snakes they where both garter snakes one was about 36" and the other was about 6" lol Here are the pics
This is the baby i caught yesterday

The adult garter i caught it at my grandma's (can anyone tell me what kind of garter it is?)

I didnt know my friend said they sounded (when I was on the phone wit him) like checkard garters but we dont have them around here thanks that was my sister's first time holding a wild caught snake she was always afraid to get bit because all the other wild ones where always stricking and biting me lol thanks again kody

Those are not checkered garters.
Checkereds are mainly found in TX and I think part of NM, but I havent looked at a range map for those in years, so I dont remember exactly.

I didnt think they were because we dont have them around here my friend thought they were well sounded like they were i was talking on the phone wit him after i released that adult garter
