Re: Go Green..
They must know you're coming and lie around on trees posing. No one could be that lucky finding so many beautiful snakes!

Re: Go Green..
Wow! What a beautiful snake! I wish those guys lived up where I am...
Oh and very nice truck as well Idk if you've ever seen the show Top Gear, but they had a couple episodes where they proved that Toyota pick-ups are virtually indestructible! Lol

Re: Go Green..
Here is the last thing they do to it after hitting it with a wrecking ball, crashing into a tree, drowning it during high tide, dropping a trailer on it, and lighting it on fire (after all of which it still worked!)
YouTube - Top Gear - killing a Toyota Pt 3 - BBC
It's pretty epic.

Wow, remind me never to get on those guys' bad side! I have always been a Toyota fan. You can drive them into the ground and they just keep running. My old Toyota had 160k miles and was still getting 40 mpg.

YUS!!! One of my favorite shows EVAR!!!
Some say his skin has the texture of a dolphin’s, and that wherever you are in the world if you tune your radio to 88.4 you can actually hear his thoughts...

Re: Go Green..
Toyota....Schmoyota...

Actually, I'm probably about to let my Jeep go. My stepson graduates basic training at Ft Benning this month and it looks like my big mouth has talked it's way into passing it on to him. Perhaps he can have some fun with it before he deploys to Afghanistan. I'll miss my Jeep but maybe it'll give him one more reason to keep his head down!
Sorry if I'm hijacking. My newest boa are settling in and have chilled out quite a bit Gus.
Before the Jeep, I had a Taco that I wish I had back. I miss having the truck bed.

Well, you aren't just hijacking this thread, you're putting me down.. I did say I thought my Toy was sweet.. I didn't say your ride wasn't.. but since you bring it up.. in fact I've worked professionally as a Jeep mechanic (and Porsche, and Audi and more) and Jeep is pretty crummy.. it looks like there's a lot of shiny stuff bolted onto that tin box of yours! If I found that in my driveway I'd sell it too!
.
I guess we're even now.. and can be best buddies.
.
Have a great day!

Re: Go Green..
I regret ever making the first post and my effort to be breif in the next one comes across ugly as well.
Just to clarify what I mean when I say you're wrong. This particular Heep is heavily modified and was in mid build in those pics. Very little of what's left has anything to do with Jeep.
I'm really not at all qualified to say which truck is better or worse. I work on cars professionally, daily but only on the glass parts.
I'm just a fan of off-road trail riding and herping. I couldn't help but jump at the chance to share that with you Gus.
I love Toyotas as well and the schmoyota thing was intended as good natured ribbing, that's all.
I just got caught up in my enthusiasm for a hopefully shared interest with you in trucks as well as boa. I guess that in my eagerness to discuss some shared interests, I just didn't think about how my words could have been taken.
Peace
TC

I've been wrong before.. so it's not like being wrong on this will kill my libido!
.
I need people like you to keep my feet on the ground.. no matter my experience or insight or expertise.. I'm still sometimes totally wrong!
.
And if now I 'couldn't be more wrong'.. well that's a plus! I'll never again be more wrong as I am now!
.
Have fun with your nice 'vehicle'.

Your buddy, Gus.
