Herp finds, Brownsville.
Ok, the weather was plain sucky! Oh, it looked nice for a while on Saturday but the cold nights and more (big front came through) meant lean pickins. But some guys from the Northlands were in town and I spent a few hours out with them. There were several things seen.. this intermediate phase Coachwhip snake most caught my eye.. not banded as a hatchling is and not yet adult.
.

.
.. I like the chin-patterns on these.
.

.

.
BTW: it was officially 37deg (F) here the first morning of Spring.. an all time record low for the date, going back to 1915. Wowza!
.
Have fun, be safe.

Poor little guy was probably colder than heck. The weather has been bananas all over.

Re: Herp finds, Brownsville.
Beautiful snake, Gus. Weather has been a bit crazy here in AZ as well. This usually happens around season transition periods though. Soon it will be nice and warm and I'll be out herping . Good luck with the rest of the season!
