Some Herpin' Pics....
Just wanted to share some pics of a couple of my Herpin trips from this past summer. My cousin had some great spots and we came across alot of animals...mainly Northern Pacific Rattlers. These pics were taken in Santa Clara County, S.F. Bay Area, CA.
A pic from one of the spots...underneath all that fog is the Pacific Ocean.
Flipped a board and found a small Racer.
Flipped another huge plank and this big girl was ready to dance!
We almost stepped right in front of this Nor Pac!
Here was another guy I found near some boards...Check out the 24K gold eyes!
Right next to GoldenEye...this guy was under some brush...deep in shed.
Another beauty.
...and another.
Found this Gopher Snake right next to a full shed...looking nice.
Not to fond of Scorpions...but I snapped a pic anyways...this was under a board as well.
Don't know if I posted this pic below before...but my cousin lives in the hills and a baby deer was hurt on his property...so he nursed it back to health. Cute lil deer.

Those are all really cool! I wonder what I'll find if I set some boards out in a certain field out here. I would love to see a timber or a copperhead.
I know if I go out in the woods I will find myself with poison ivy! :C

This spring my goal is to find some Timbers.....I want to do a lot of Herping this year.
......and luckily I am immune to Poison Ivy! LOL My brother and Dad get it read bad....I take more of my moms side of the family...they don't get it. I have walked through bushes of Ivy with shorts...nothing.
