Let's start with my Fave.. The only Hot actually caught on this trip. It was caught by Ted, Michelle, Bry, and myself. It was an exercise in "How many herpers does it take.." This little Canebrake is now in the possession of BWSmith and he has opted to name it Morti. I feel so honored.
Me holding the Rattler.
Ted holding the Rattler.
The final tally was, I think, 7 gators. This is my favorite pic from the gator hunting.
BW holding our first live snake of the trip. He caught this little racer while flippin' tin.
BW holding the Second racer of the trip... he caught this one while road crusing and he had to chase it up a tree and get it down with tongs... Great times.
BW preparing to probe one of the coppers that HerpKingdom brought from John White.
JuliusSqueezer doing the actual probing.
BW's coral snake.
Old barn somewhere in southern Georgia.
Lil' Mojo had too much excitement.
There are several more pics that you can get to by clicking here.
Thanks again to everyone who went and made this a GREAT camping/herping trip!

Well, we were headed to a good tin spot. Unfortunately, we were driving my Escort and it was touch and go for a while, then we came to a giant mud pit that I KNEW my car would not make. So we walked. And walked. And walked. For about a mile or 2 to get to the spot. Flipped everything out there and found the first Racer. Then walked back in the scorching heat. So basically we walked 4 miles int he heat for a freakin Racer

hehe, ok.
We were heading down the Okee when we see a small channel with a sign. It says "no motor boats. Canoes by permit only." By the time it got read, the current took the boat, we went sideways into the small channel and got STUCK. The motor had to be shut off and it got into some roots. We couldn't push ourselves off from the boat, so BW (my hero ) emptied his pockets and jumped into the Okee! He managed to find a stump under the water to get purchase (he was neck deep in tea colored water) and pushed us off the roots. He jumped back into the boat and they paddled like crazy against the current. Morti got the engine started and we were back off to open water.
HAHAHA What an adventure...

hahaha nice pics... I think it's safe for me to go home now and post mine. I have been making up some lost time with my fiance ...plus my sister called monday night because her neighbor moved away and released his Iguana into the wilds of Carrollton Georgia and it ended up taking up roots along side her swimming pool...So we had to go rescue it. Anyone want a nice fat male Iguana? I have a pair now and that just will not do! One of them HAS to go soon! I don't care which one. Anyway...I know everyone is dying to see the pics of my grand poobah of watersnakes lol...I'll post em soon as I get home this afternoon.

Come on Michell you left out the important details. The water there was only two feet deep.
