It still is, I haven't made many calls yet. Work has been real nuts all of a sudden. People want their boats this year. last year no one wanted to fix them this year they are making up for it.
So far only think i have been able to find is tent site. Haven't found any nice lodges to house many people. Hope ya'll weren't spoiled. If tenting it is cool, we should have little worries. Next week is my Herp Society meeting, A bunch of CHS members go to Shawnee Herping, I'll try to get the low down on the best areas.

Another vote for tents. I have a 3 room dome that probably will sleep 5 comfortably. IF anyone is bringing their significant other and kids they can use it. I have a smaller 2 man that I can use.

Mid-West is also Michigan.
I'd love to go, but it depends on the finances and how much it'll cost. The Cody works, and would prolly get Thurs, Fri, Sat night off, so I dunno if he'd be able to make it.
Just how far south in Southern IL? Cause that's a loooooong drive all the way to the bottom. I know from driving to Tx and back twice. Ug.
Could I maybe catch a ride with the Ed? Saving on gas moola would make my chances of going better.
I vote for tents! Just hafta steal one from my dad. I could probably get one of those camping grills from him too, if people didn't want to cook on the camp fire for some reason.
