I have barbacue tools to bring. Or I should say Brookstone currently has a set of barbacue tools that I will be buying Thursday morning before I head out.
We have a set of poker chips and a couple decks of cards that we can bring. I could also bring a couple of board games and whatnot.
I think Michelle would be ok if we bring her boom-box and a few CD's. I will be bringing the essentials from my cd collection.
If we have a grill, do we want to all chip in and cook the world famous MortiBurgers (tm) one night? I need to know if this will be the case so I can bring the herbs, spices, and special ingredients for them.
I am also bringing at least one fishing rod. Ya'll native Georgians, do you know how much a weekend fishing permit costs?
I will be bringing my Julius Squeezer special Field hook, and we will be buying another hook or two off the man this weekend, but does anybody have an extra set of tongs? I keep meaning to buy a set but I never can get money, time, and tongs all in the same place.
I appologize that this is such a long post, but I do my best planning at the last minute.

those little 2 way radios are ok but only have a 2 mile range at best and they are not compatable with CB radios. I have about 10 CBs with a 4-5 mile range. I dunno...maybe we can figure out a relay system lol...i have 4 of the little 2-ways too but hadn't planned on using those.

OK the countdown is on! Changed the oil in the car, and the air filter (trying to make it on 1 fill up) Brakes checked, tires checked. Gotta clean and feed the critters. They all exploded overnight Gotta get food for the live rabbits. Remind wife to feed them and water them while we are gone.
Now just have to wait 2 excruciating days. Do a little shopping in between. Pack the car Thursday night. Go to work Friday morning. Leave work at 2 pm get home by 2:30 dish out instructions. Wait for Dave to get home from school. Hoping by 3:10 to hit the road.
I did the math and IF all goes well and Dave sleeps allot and we dont need 50 bathroom breaks 13 hours later I'll be there. Yes I'll have the beer on ice before I leave in the cooler so it will be cold.
