Rare turtle and other stuff
Went out last weekend with a couple buddies. We were looking for Night snakes and Zonata of witch we found none. We did turn up some cool stuff though.
Northwestern Ringneck snake (Diadophis punctatus occidentalis)
We went and check out a spot that was supposed to be good for Contia, we did turn up a couple Northern Alligator Lizards. Southerns seam to be the norm in my area and finding Northerns is cool.
We were in the neck of the woods of one of two remaining natural populations of the Washington Endangered Western Pond Turtle
That's it for now,
Nate

America does not go abroad in search of monsters to destroy. She is the well-wisher to the freedom and independence of all. She well knows that by enlisting under other banners than her own, were they even the banners of foreign independence, she would involve herself beyond the power of extrication in all the wars of interest and intrigue, of individual avarice, envy and ambition, which assume the colors and usurp the standards of freedom. – John Quincy Adams (1821)
