well, I'll start... I'm about 5 hours south of Atlanta, just barely inside the FL boarder. but I don't mind travling, I know I'm probably one of the most south people here. SC sounds fine.

I cannot foresee me making another trip this summer I'm afraid. I'm on the downhill run to my wedding in early October. I'm going to Canada for a week at the end of this month, family vacation is going to be in August, my batchelor weekend is in the middle of September ( [img]modules/Forum/images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif[/img] ) and the wedding date is October 6th, so the rest of September will be last minute planning for wedding details. [img]modules/Forum/images/smiles/icon_frown.gif[/img]

Well, the big Columbia Show is coming up in October I think. There is one. But if everyone wants to go camping and do some herping. My suggestion is South GA, lots more herps. Those north of GA could all meet up in Atlanta and car pool from there. Those South could get together and do the same thing. In one of my herp societies, we are working on herpetological surveys for DNR. Once we get this one done, we get to choose any place in GA. Even places that are strictly off limits. As long as I have my permits, we are all golden. Just a thought. I do not know how much field herping ya'll wanted to do. But if i am in the woods, I am flipping everything i get my hook on! [img]modules/Forum/images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif[/img] Just a couple stray thoughts.
