New Mexico

I am embarking on a trip to New Mexico tomorrow and I was wondering if I could get any herping in, if there were any herps still out? I know it's a long shot but I want to make the best out of the trip so even if it's a little lizard I'm game. Thx

I bet if you found a river or something you could find a bunch of garters. Someone on this board just recently came back from a herping trip... maybe like 2 weeks ago, and they were really successful. I bet if you go down there, the garters haven't started hibernating yet.
