I can't see where you could ask for a better day for a herper. Not only find a beautiful king, but have her be gravid too. The little skink is cool too.

The snake got about halfway down a hole just as I grabbed it. Don't think it would nest in the area it was found 'cause it was too out in the open.

thats awesome good day, i found a lil black racer at work and everyone around kept tellin me it was poisonous so i picked it up and they all thought i was nuts. i just laughed. and they got #$%^$%^$%^$%^$%^$%^& because i let go again. people have got to stop thinking all snakes are poisounous and bad.

And once again you out do me.... Devon and I spotted a black racer, a water snake, and a tons of what I believed to be painted turtles. We did a bike ride/"snake hunting"
down in Back Bay
