I've read in a few posts about people using a thermosat to regulate temps but I have a question. We use a
UTH in conjunction with a ceramic bulb, which we leave both on all the time, & the cage temps seem ok, the warm side at 86 to 88 and the cool side 80 to 82. Both of these devices are running, I'm guessing here, at their maximum heat output, so is a thermostat mainly using for lowering heat output or will one work to increase the temp of a
UTH or ceramic bulb lamp? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
