BP egg gone bad..
One of our Ball Pythons laid 4 eggs about a week ago.. One of the eggs has gone bad and smells soooo horrible.. It is pretty much glued to 2 of the other eggs, but I'm trying to find some way to remove the stinker.. I'm afraid it may affect the other eggs, plus our apartment smells like rotten egg death.. Any ideas on getting the thing unstuck would be appreciated.

Telefrag would probably be your best bet regarding this. I don't have any egg experience (YET!) to help you out.
What mixture of vermiculite/water are you using?

Yah..
Latex gloves, Vick vapor rub under your nostrils, a razor and a zip baggie.
Disect it away from the others, carefully, leaving only the shell from the old one that is stuck to the good eggs.

Are BP eggs like Croc eggs in that they should not be tipped from they way they were layed?

We have a very light mix of water in the vermiculite.. Barely damp to the touch. We are keeping the temps about 86 humidity is pretty high.. around 70-80%.
This egg looked a little poor from the start, so we pretty much guessed it was bad.. Just couldn't get it unstuck.

Sounds pretty good. If I recall correctly that is what Beccah (old RTB member) incubated theirs at.

Another simple way, thanks to modern plastics, is to use a capri-sun straw

First off, temps are too low, I incubated ball eggs at 91 with 100% hatch rate.
Also, a dead or dying egg will pose NO threat to a healthy egg.
So my suggestion is, despite its smell and appearance, leave it be.
If you try to pull it off, you risk damage to the other eggs.
I have had clutches of good eggs attached to bad eggs hatch just fine.
Leave it alone, thats my suggestion.
