subspecies ?

Okay, I am new to boas (own pythons +yrs). I bought it from a private party, approx. 6months old. How do I or can I determine the subspecies of redtail he/she is? I know it is not really important to know but I would like to just the same. Anyone here able to tell by looking at the boid? If so I can email you a pic of he/she. I have looked at different snakes on web pages but personally via the computer I cant tell much difference between the subspecies.

Soon as I get home from work at about 6 I will take a pic of it on the floor from above and send it to you, I am also going to send you a pic of it on my daughters neck right now but I dont know if you could tell from this pic but if you could try.

	Boa Constrictor Imperator Boa Constrictor (Boa constrictor imperator). Most common is the Colombian Boa.

I do believe it is BCCI but was just curious if someone knew better. I started counting ventral scales and got to about 100 and asked myself the question to beat all questions, "Dont I have better things to do? HeeHee It is begining to get hard to find boas around here. Multomah county Porland Oregon has made it illegal to own, buy, or sell (no grandfather claus either) boa contrictors and any other snake that can grow to over 6 ft. I live in Vancouver Wa (across the bridge) but all the boa owners and stores that sold them I knew about were in Portland, I guess I got lucky.
