Burned my snake!!!
I was trying to give her some humidity so I let her sit in the shower on the rod, but she fell in and when I went back she was in the tub. She is starting to come around but I am not sure if she is going to make it. How can I help her? She wont move her lower half.

man...that's really sad man. I'm sorry to hear it. The first thing you should do is to put her in her cage, withsome plain white paper towles. Treat her burns with some neosporin (no pain meds) and you should consider taking her to a vet ASAP. Does she act as if she has water in her lungs?

ok, I can see the possibility of this one getting ugly, so I will make a generic reply. I am sure you don't need me to tell you that leaving her in the bathroom alone with hot running water wasn't the brightest idea. You really have to watch them like children.
The best way to provide humidity for a snake is through daily mistings, a humid hide box, and/or some sort of substrate that holds and release moisture (all depending on the species needs).
As far as her current situation... I really don't know what to say. If she was in the hot water long enough she may have cooked her insides and she will die eventually. I don't hope for that to happen, I hope she recovers. But for now it's just a waiting game.
Sorry.

Please bring her to a qualified reptile vet immediately.
I assume the water was hot to create humidity. No one in this forum would know if she is burnt or possibly suffered injury from her fall by possibly hitting the edge of the tub.

All of the above are possibilities...she may have deep external burns, internal burns, or possibile damage to her spine. I have to agree with Steve...you should seek a qulaified reptile vet ASAP.
