Looking for a Breeder
I was wondering if anyone knew where I could find a jeweled racer breeder. The snake I'm looking for looks like

The more I see that pic of the jeweled racer the more I think I might have to break that "No Colubrids" rule and get one
Then I end up seeing another pic of an ETB and remember that that is first on my list

Drymobius are NOT good captives for those who have not had extensive experience with high strung snakes that mostly feed on anurans.
While they are beeyoootiful (like most cool-ubrids), they require a certain degree of understanding before diving into them.
I dont doubt in the next few years, captive bred Drymobius will be more common, but for now, about 99.8 % of all of them in the US are field collected in Central america (mainly Honduras last I heard) and most do not live very long in captivity. And a note, that pic in the link above is NOT a speckeled racer, its a Elaphe oxyphala, or red tail ratsnake.
At least that is what showed up when I clicked the link.
